New Delhi: Nadal edged out Federer 7-4 on a shootout, winning their set 6-5, as the Aces notched a 30-19 victory over the UAE Royals in New Delhi.

The host team won all five sets of the match with Agnieszka Radwanska impressing for the second day in a row, beating Kristina Mladenovic 6-1.

The triumph strengthened the Aces’ position at the top of the table with time running out for their rivals to peg them back.

Three legs of the competition are now over with two to follow, starting in Dubai on Monday.

In the day’s other match, Nick Kyrgios helped the Singapore Slammers claim a 24-22 victory over the Japan Warriors.
