Actor Akshay Kumar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is doing a decent business at the box office. The movie earned Rs 13.10 cr on its opening day and the four days collection of the film is Rs 63.45 cr. The collections are likely to show growth in coming days. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the numbers on social networking site Twitter.Toilet: Ek Prem Katha earned Rs 17.10 cr on Saturday and Rs 21.25 on the third day of the release. Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#ToiletEkPremKatha is on a DREAM RUN... Fri 13.10 cr, Sat 17.10 cr, Sun 21.25 cr, Mon 12 cr. Total: Rs. 63.45 cr. India biz... #TEPK.” Even Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna is also happy with the film’s business. The gorgeous lady, who is proud of her husband for doing a film like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha tweeted, “So even the box office needed this Toilet eventually to break free from its constipation-#ToiletEkPremKath Hit Hit Hooray!” It seems that the flick is going to end the box office’s dry spell. It is yet to be seen if Toilet: Ek Prem Katha becomes Akshay’s consecutive fifth film to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the movie is based on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and creates awareness about open defecation.

It is being said that the star has used some crude words in the film that were asked to be removed by CBFC. Though the movie is based on the strong subject still ‘sanskaari’ CBFC got something to chop from the film.A sourced from CBFC revealed that there are some dialogues mouthed by Akhsya’s character in the film that are not amusing and have sanctity attached to them. The reaction of the team on CBFC’s decision is still awaited. Lately, Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan were seen promoting Akshay’s film on social media. Doctors treating legendary thespian Dilip Kumar, who is undergoing treatment for kidney-related problems, are happy with the progress in his health, a senior official from the Lilavati Hospital here said on Tuesday."He is improving. His creatinine levels have come down further and doctors are happy with the progress in his health," Ajay Kumar Pande, Vice President, Lilavati Hospital, said. Asked about when is he likely to be discharged from the facility, Pande said: "It is not yet decided. But it may be discussed tomorrow." The thespian was admitted to the hospital on August 2 due to dehydration and urinary tract infection. High potassium and creatinine levels had raised concerns that he may have to be put on dialysis, but doctors decided against it after he started responding well to treatment.

In an earlier interview, Ranbir Kapoor said that the Sanjay Dutt biopic will shed light on both highs and lows of the actor’s life. He also says that Sanjay Dutt has been very open about providing details about his life in an utter honest way. The biopic on Sanjay Dutt is being helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. According to Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay is not being hypocrite in providing information about his life. So it won’t be fair to say that the film is trying to portray him as a hero. "We are trying to show a very human side of Sanjay Dutt, his perils, his downfall, his will to fight, his time in jail, terrorism charges, his drug phase, how he handled his mother's death two days before the release of his debut film, his relationship with his father. These were human conflicts in his life," Ranbir Kapoor said. The film also stars Manisha Koirala as Sanjay Dutt’s mother Nargis Dutt, Paresh Rawal as late father Sunil Dutt and Dia Mirza as Manyata Dutt, Sanjay Dutt’s present wife.
