Yes, this has happened! The reboot of the 90s hit flick ‘Judwaa 2’ starring Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu has zoomed past yet another milestone – the 200-crore mark.
According to the latest report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the film raked in Rs 205 crore gross in twenty-one days of its release at the worldwide box office. It is the fifth highest-grossing Bollywood film worldwide at the moment and has fared much better in the Gulf, the report further states. While the domestic numbers are at an all-time high already, it comes as a pleasant surprise that the film is getting love and appreciation all across the globe.
‘Judwaa 2’ sees Varun bringing back to celluloid the iconic characters Raja and Prem portrayed by Salman Khan in ‘Judwaa’, which was also directed by David Dhawan. Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu have stepped into the shoes of Karisma Kapoor and Rambha.
Varun recently asked his fans to support him in the fight against piracy. “Please do not support piracy. If you love films please watch it through legal mediums. I’m a fan of cinema I urge all of you say #nopiracy,” he wrote on his social media handle.
